Medical Courier Service Liability

Medical courier services include transport of:

• Laboratory specimens
• Pharmacy deliveries
• Medical records
• Medical equipment
• Healthcare supplies

The Company does not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or handling of biological analysis.

The customer (medical facility, pharmacy, or sender) is solely responsible for:

• Proper sealing and packaging of all materials
• Compliance with applicable medical transport regulations
• Labeling and containment of sensitive materials
• Ensuring items are safe for transport

Drivers do not inspect internal contents.

The Company provides transportation only.

We are not responsible for:

• Testing or verifying medical contents
• Validating specimen integrity before pickup
• Internal handling procedures before pickup

Chain of custody begins once a driver receives a sealed package.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• The Company does not guarantee temperature control
• The Company is not responsible for spoilage
• Customers must provide proper insulated packaging if required

The Company is not liable for:

• Specimen degradation
• Misdiagnosis due to sample integrity
• Laboratory processing issues
• Improper packaging by sender
• Delays caused by external conditions

While priority and STAT services may be offered, delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed unless explicitly contracted in writing.

Drivers may refuse any medical package that:

• Appears unsafe or leaking
• Is improperly sealed
• Violates transportation regulations
• Poses risk to driver safety

Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and healthcare regulations (including HIPAA-related handling requirements where applicable).

Peyelis Logistics and Delivery:

• Does not provide healthcare services
• Does not interpret medical contents
• Does not assume medical responsibility for transported items

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Peyelis Logistics and Delivery from any claims arising from:

• Improper packaging
• Regulatory violations by sender
• Misuse of medical courier services
